I'm a product designer working in fintech, based in Accra.
For six years I've designed financial products for Africa. At SecondSTAX I was the only designer on the team, which meant owning the whole function across seven cross-border securities platforms. I built the design system, cut KYC onboarding time by 40%, and the prototypes I made went into the pitch that raised a $1.6M pre-seed.
Before that I built StubHub's design system across a $13B marketplace and led design on the Ghana.GOV app for the Government of Ghana. At ADPList I was the first designer, back when it had around 20,000 mentees. It has since passed 150,000.
Outside the day job I founded FiDCon, now Ghana's largest design and innovation conference, and co-founded thedsgnjunkies. I'm looking for a full-time product design role. Fintech is where I'm strongest, but I'm open.
